Sister Kathryn Rolley, I.H.M., (formerly known as Sister M. Serena) of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died Jan. 19, at Our Lady of Peace Residence, Scranton. She was 89.
Born in Karthaus, Pa., she entered the I.H.M. congregation in 1945, professing final vows on Aug. 2, 1950.
Her local teaching assignments included Sacred Hearts, Manhattan, 1958-64; and Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Forest Hills, 1988-96.
