Regina Machalski, 78, the mother of Msgr. Thomas C. Machalski, chancellor of the Orchard Lake, Mich., Schools and rector of SS. Cyril and Methodius Seminary, Orchard Lake, died Sept. 30.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Oct. 6 at Holy Cross Church, Maspeth.
She is also survived by her son, Michael. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens.
