Auxiliary Bishop Octavio Cisneros presided at the diocesan celebration of Our Lady of Divine Providence, patroness of Puerto Rico, at All Saints Church, Williamsburg, Nov. 17.

Hundreds of Brooklyn and Queens residents, many of Puerto Rican descent, attended the 7:30 p.m. Mass, which was followed by traditional Puerto Rican fare and a cultural program in the parish hall.

Father Frederick Cintron directs the diocesan Our Lady of Divine Providence Committee with Deacon Jaime Varela, assistant director. The committee includes more than two dozen lay people.
