Gerritsen Beach will host its eighth annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 18. The step off will be 1 p.m. from the VFW Post No. 107 at Gerritsen and Whitney avenues.
Honorees include Doreen Garson, Grand Marshal; Mike Donovan, Irishman of the Year; and Lilly-Beth Hanson, Irish Woman of the Year. This year’s parade is in memory of Tom and Dolores Donovan.

The 42nd annual Brooklyn Irish-American Parade will be March 19 in Park Slope. A pre-parade Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church at 9 a.m. The re-dedication ceremony to the heroes and victims of 9/11/01 will be held at Bartel-Pritchard Square at 12:45 p.m. Parade will step off at 1 p.m. led by Grand Marshal James J. Houlihan.

Msgr. Kieran Harrington, president of DeSales Media Group, communications and technology arm of the Diocese of Brooklyn, will serve as Grand Marshal of the Bay Ridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade, March 26.
Day begins with 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, followed by the inaugural Shamrock Fun Run at 11 a.m. Parade kicks off at 1 p.m.
