The speech team from Bishop Kearney H.S., Bensonhurst, rolled to a second place finish at the Urban Assembly School Competition. Melissa Licciardello and Margaret Iuni took first place in Duo Interpretation and with their victory now qualify for the State Competition. Jennifer Kuhn and Lorena Lipe placed second place in the Public Forum category. Alanna McAuliffe finished fourth in Oral Interpretation. Mandy Chin earned fifth place in Original Oratory. Christina Baumann finished sixth, and Amy Blaise finished seventh in the category of Declamation.
