Students from Holy Cross H.S., Flushing, visited neighboring St. Joseph’s School for the Deaf to host an Easter Egg Hunt for the younger students.
The Holy Cross Knights were accompanied by Father Walter Jenkins, C.S.C., principal; Dimitri Tsimoyianas, director of service learning; Brother Edward Zydrowski; and Coach Lloyd Desvigne.
The young men set up and managed four Easter-themed gaming stations (Bunny Hop, Egg Race, Bunny Relay and the Egg Hunt), and every St. Joseph student was able to play each game.
Three Holy Cross students donned the a bunny costume while running the game.
It has been a tradition at Holy Cross to spend time with the children of St. Joseph’s for Easter and throughout the school year.
