Following the unexpected passing of President and CEO Mark L. Lane on July 22, Fidelis Care has appointed Father Patrick J. Frawley, the company’s current executive vice president and chief operating officer, to serve as interim CEO.

Father Frawley, a Brooklyn priest, joined Fidelis Care in 1996 and will lead the company, which is the largest government programs-based health plan in New York State with more than 780,000 members, until a permanent chief executive officer is selected at a later date.
