Dear Editor: Father Anthony Casey and I enjoyed many years of friendship (“Irish-born Father Anthony Casey Was a Priest for 54 Years,” Obituaries, Oct. 2012). We both had a passion for art and we spent so many hours at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art and visiting my father who lived near the shrine of Kateri Tekakwitha, a Mohawk woman who was born in 1656. Father Casey was my protector as well as my priest and Anam Cara.
