I learned from my religion teacher to not worry about everyone’s expectations of me and to just be who I want to be. I should not let anyone bring my self-esteem down.

I read a book called “Divergent.” I was on the fence about buying it when I first saw it. I was surprised to have learned so much about bravery by the end of the book.

One great thing I have learned from others around me is that no one can be perfect and know everything. Attempting to act perfectly and get perfect grades actually makes people unhappy. In order to truly be happy, you have to try your best and be content with who you are as a person.
