Dear Editor: Blessed Sacrament School celebrated 100 years of Catholic education this spring. This wonderful event marked the end of an era in Cypress Hills. We will reopen our doors in September, but as Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Father Francis Shannon, better known to all as Father Frank. He has supported the students, parents, faculty, staff and administration in every way. He has been a joy to work with over the past 10 years. No one could ask for a better pastor. He is a humble and loving priest who reflects Jesus in all that he does. Thank you, Father Frank.
