  1. I would like to find out how does someone become a candidate for the High School Basketball Coach Hall Of Fame”. My husband, Ken Kern was the coach for 29 years at Fort Hamilton HS. He was more than just a PE teacher. He coached Bernard and Albert King. He many of his players get scholarships into colleges. He even had Dick Bavetta work out in his gym so he better his career. He had many wins. Check with the New York Daily News He coached the Mc Donald’s game in 1977 He was coach of the year by the Daily News in 1985.
He did have a winning career. If yo need more info you can contact me
