Dear Editor: I read with interest Bishop DiMarzio’s column (Oct. 14) on the uphill battle to re-establish a Culture of Life in American society today.
One of the heroes of this battle has been Brooklyn’s own Msgr. Philip Reilly who has been at the forefront of the pro-life movement since 1967, long before the notorious Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court case was decided.
I would also like to add that anyone interested in promoting the Culture of Life is welcome at the Helpers’ prayer vigils that are held monthly at the sites of abortion.
