I hope to have a job and friends and family that come into my life because of my honesty and hard work, not because of deception or anything I don’t stand for.

With classes back in full swing, schools from throughout the diocese are proud of their studious and caring teens. Here is a sample of the promising young leaders in the diocese.

Last year, I began visiting St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital through the service program of Holy Cross H.S., Flushing. It has honestly changed my life in more ways than I could have ever imagined. St. Mary’s has truly molded me into the man I am today.

Seniors from St. Saviour H.S., Park Slope, dedicated themselves to the service of God as extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion and lectors during a ceremony at St. Saviour Church.

The Young Adult Leaders of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, Ridgewood, welcomed the shepherd of their diocese, Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio.

This year I learned CPR. This will help me in the future to be a lifeguard or help others who need it.
