What is a virtue that you hold true?
I believe kindness is a virtue that brightens everyone’s day. You may never know what someone is going through so if I’m able to make someone smile, that is my priority.

As a nation, we strive for the virtue of tolerance, serving as a haven for all those who need it. Personally, I try to embody this ideal by being accepting and open to the people I encounter.
Time with God in Bath Beach
Young people from Brooklyn spent their Friday night with God at Most Precious Blood Church in Bath Beach. The Jan. 15 night of worship included Eucharistic adoration and music by the Kingdom Builders group.

Youth Views: What was a sacrifice that you’ve made that was worth it?
A sacrifice that I have made that is worth it is participating in the Hunger Awareness Challenge because it is helping the less fortunate. I try to live in their shoes for one day during each school cycle and donate money for a greater good.
