Dems Have Changed

Dear Editor: I am all for pro-life and it looks like I will be changing my vote again. (Democrats’ Anti-Life Stance Continues to Alienate People, May 6.)

Like Riding the F Train

Dear Editor: “Celebrating Mother’s Day at 11,152 Feet Altitude” by AnneMarie Prono (May 13) was a lovely piece.

Twins Are a Big Hit

Dear Editor: My son, T.J., played baseball with Charlie and Ryan Neuweiler of Msgr. McClancy H.S. (April 22) for three years on an elite travel team on Long Island.

The Law Matters

Dear Editor: This is concerning the letter “Work to Dismiss Borders” (May 20).

Work to Dissolve Borders

Dear Editor: I recently read Father Catoir’s Up Front and Personal (April 29) on immigrations and protecting the borders.

Concern for Health Act

Dear Editor: I was glad to see recent coverage of church leaders expressing concerns about the American Health Care Act (AHCA). Church leaders were right to critique certain aspects of the Affordable Care Act before, and they are right to critique the AHCA now, all on the basis of how they do or don’t protect the vulnerable.

Local Fatima Pilgrim

Dear Editor: On Saturday, May 13, I left Our Lady Queen of Martyrs after noon Mass, Confession and the First Joyful Mystery of the Rosary. As I opened the door to leave, I felt the falling rain. I had made a vow the previous summer to take a walk to Our Lady of Fatima Church near LaGuardia Airport.

Advocate for the Disabled

Dear Editor: As we remember all of the great things which Bishop Daily accomplished, let us never forget the love he had for people with all disabilities. He instituted a wonderful advocacy program which sought to make all of our churches and surrounding buildings accessible to people with all disabilities.

Colbert Is Not Cool

Dear Editor: Stephen Colbert recent program was disturbing and disappointing. In my opinion, not only did his disrespectful, tasteless jokes fall flat (on conservative ears, at least), but to have this type of rhetoric spew forth from a Catholic who is so influential, is just base.

An Inspirational Mentor

Dear Editor: Gina Krainchich wrote a wonderful letter about Msgr. Michael Dempsey’s impact as the founder of the Catholic Television Network (CTN).
