At Midwood Catholic Academy, Flatlands, Catholic Schools Week consisted of a week of special activities including its own version of the TV show, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?, in which teachers and students were the contestants; eighth graders sat in a No. 13 representing their graduation year; Rainbow Day, when all classes wore colors to create a rainbow of the entire school; Principal Appreciation Day during which students made a card from the entire school with hand and finger prints; a Social Studies Fair; Living Museum in which sixth through eighth graders acted as historical figures, Olympians, sports figures and politicians; and a ring ceremony Mass for the eighth grade.
