Remembering Fr. Aufiero
Dear Editor: I was so sad to learn that Father Lou Aufiero had passed away in May of 2015. He has been a good friend, mentor and spiritual advisor since I first met him as an orthopaedic surgery resident when I was in residency training at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Jamaica, back in 2004.
Car Donation Program

Rescuing Identity of Pro-Life Supporters
I recently signed an online petition at change.org. I’m not ordinarily a petition person, but this one caught my eye. It asked media organizations to show the diversity of the pro-life movement when covering the issue of abortion. It was developed by a group called The Consistent Life Network, and it took issue with the media feeding false stereotypes.
