St. Saviour Pandas Off To Fast Start

The St. Saviour H.S., Park Slope, varsity soccer team is off to the best start in its 10-year program history at 3-1. The Pandas are led by new head coach Ed O’Donnell and have received timely contributions from junior team captain Katie O’Donnell, freshman leading goal-scorer Kevina Shalvey and standout sophomore goaltender Carmen Proffitt.

New Gym Floor at Sacred Heart

Sacred Heart Elementary School, Bayside, installed a new gymnasium floor over summer vacation. The school children, CYO sports program and Boy and Girl Scouts of the parish will all benefit from this gym restoration. The Sacred Heart School alumni contributed to this major building renovation, and more projects are already in the planning stages.
