Thousands of Catholics joined Bishop Frank Caggiano for a two-hour procession through the streets of Bensonhurst and ended in front of Our Lady of Guadalupe church, Dyker Heights. The nine churches of the Italian apostolate were present for the 30th annual public stations of the cross recited in their native language. The demonstration of faith attracted even those who do not speak Italian including members of the Chinese apostolate and those who are second and third generation Italians.
