Young Jornadistas from throughout the diocese woke up early in the morning on Holy Saturday to devote their day to publically expressing their faith. After having fasted the day before, the young followers of Christ once again gave up food during their procession from Transfiguration church, Williamsburg, to St. Matthias, Ridgewood. They stopped in front of seven church buildings along the way, where several of the Jornadistas acted out a play about the struggle to keep their schools and churches open. The theme this year was “Fight for Justice, Live for Jesus.”
