A Tale of Two Marches

Dear Editor: We had a march for life, a pro-life event, and we had a march for our lives, a gun control event. Two worthy goals but the events did not get the same attention.

The duration of the coverage for the pro-life event was a mention and up to a minute of broadcast TV, while the gun control event received all-day coverage from the mainstream media.

That was only one example of how the mainstream media skews the news and pushes their own agenda. The bias in the media is anti-Christian. Where else do we see this bias?

Observe the confirmation process for nominees to positions in President Trump’s cabinet and other positions. The questioning involves issues about a person’s faith and positions on abortion, traditional marriage, transgender accommodations, and a host of other matters that have nothing to do with the job being sought.

Then there was the White House correspondents’ dinner where a comedienne called into question the faith of Vice President Pence and his stance on abortion. She also insulted various members of the President’s family.

Our governor, Andrew Cuomo wants to make abortion more available, even at a later stage in the term of a pregnancy.

Mayor deBlasio wants to provide a center where you can shoot up with illegal drugs under a doctor’s supervision, to potentially save the life of a person who has made terrible choices in their life.

He also wants the general public to carry the antidote to an overdose, so we can save that person’s life.

How ironic that they are willing to save the life of a person who has made bad choices, and terminate the lives of millions of babies who have made no choice in the quest to just live.

All of this bias lines up with one particular entity, the Democratic party. The mainstream media supports the Democratic party and all of its like-minded minions.

All other news is subject to omission, censorship, exclusion and downright fabrication. The denial of free speech on university campuses accompanied by rioting and violence is more evidence of this cancerous bias.

Be very careful and wary of the mainstream media. The whole truth is never presented. They only give you what they want you to hear or read.

The mainstream media is an accomplice of the Democratic party, and the agenda is clear – marginalize Christians, African-Americans and any group that poses a threat to their narrative.
