TT-Janet-Cullen-25th

Music teacher and choral director Janet Cullen celebrated her 25th year of teaching at Our Lady of Guadalupe School, Dyker Heights. Each class presented Cullen with a spiritual bouquet, and she received a poem, gifts and flowers from the parish and school. In addition to teaching music, Cullen directs the choral group, the choral juniors, the tone chime choir and the parish children’s choir. The woman of honor is pictured surrounded by her students; Sister Dolores F. Crepeau, C.S.J., principal, back row, left; and Msgr. Robert J. Romano, pastor, right.

The event was organized by Knight Gerry O’Callaghan, front row, center, and Grand Knight Bill Kuil, front row, second from right, who encouraged fellow Knights to support the cause. Among the participants was Deacon Peter Stamm, second row, center, from Sacred Heart parish, Glendale.
