When dealing with family conflict, I try to communicate effectively without yelling or an aggressive attitude. Oftentimes, the wrong attitude escalates the situation.

The best way to resolve an issue within a family is to talk it out. When everyone puts everything out on the table, it makes it easier to understand and forgive one another.

There really is no point in arguing; it doesn’t get you anywhere. In my family, we share our viewpoints and where each one of us went wrong.

Family conflict is never fun, but when it does happen, I find the best remedy to the situation is to have a meaningful conversation about it. Confronting the problem allows my parents and I to only say what’s on our minds but also come to an agreement.
