WINDSOR TERRACE — After receiving word from the state that red zone schools could reopen, locally affected Catholic schools began working on their mandatory mass testing. 

The six schools — Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy, Good Shepherd Catholic Academy, Midwood Catholic Academy, St. Athanasius Catholic Academy, St. Edmund School, and St. Edmund Preparatory High School — had been physically closed for at least a month under Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Oct. 5 order …
