Thanks for the Annual All-Star selections. Always look forward to this. It would help if each of their heights were listed, though. In a shortened season like this, every little bit of information might help get these kids noticed by college recruiters. Keep up the excellent work.
I do not think highlighting individual play and statistics, especially points, is a good way to develop the game of basketball. It is a team game. Now, players are launching 30 footers and doing all they can (win or lose) to promote their own game on the court. With all the high stakes in free school and NBA money who can blame right? Well, it is up to the coaches, institutions and media to promote the correct environment. Everyone wants to be Jordan (shot hog), get commercials and shoes deals. It is a joke and the fame has suffered by the “Me” mentality of players today. Your featured players article promotes the “Me” mentality.
