Sister Margaret Eileen Shine, S.C., formerly Sister Helen Theresa, a Sister of Charity-Halifax for 74 years, died on March 10 at Mount Saint Vincent, Wellesley, MA. She was 95 years old.

Sister Margaret Eileen is survived by her nieces and nephews, Michael Griffin, Jeffrey Donohue, Margaret Hanley and Catherine Oullette and all her Sisters in community.

Sister Margaret Eileen was missioned at Saint Sylvester Convent, Brooklyn, from 1969-79. During that time, she served as the Area Coordinator for CCD at the Brooklyn Diocesan Office. She also taught at Saint Aidan School, Williston Park, NY; Halifax, Glace Bay, North Sydney Nova Scotia; North Andover, Lowell, Mount Saint Vincent and Elizabeth Seton Residence, all in Massachusetts.

Her funeral Mass was celebrated on March 14 at St. Patrick Church, Laurence, MA. Burial followed in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, North Andover, MA.
