Rose Heffernan, the mother of Father Matteo Rizzo, a retired diocesan priest, died Feb. 2.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Feb. 8 at Most Precious Blood Church, Brooklyn.

Burial was in Pinelawn Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I.
