Father Terrence Mulkerin, the diocesan director of the Propagation of the Faith, celebrated his 50th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood with a Mass of thanksgiving at Holy Name Church, Park Slope. He is shown standing next to Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio who presided, and concelebrants, deacons and members of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. During his priesthood, Father Mulkerin has served as a parish priest, executive secretary for the diocesan Catholic-Jewish Relations Committee, a representative for Catholic Relief Services in Poland and Africa, and a U.S. Navy chaplain based in the States and in Japan.
