Only in The Tablet: More Than 500 Teens Attend Rosary Rally | November 2, 2019

FRESH MEADOWS — One way the Diocese of Brooklyn is helping “tweens” and early teens deal with the awkwardness they often face: Hosting a prayer rally reaffirming that every person is made in the image and likeness of God.

On Oct. 24, more than 500 middle school youth from around the diocese poured into the pews at Holy Family Catholic Church, Fresh Meadows, for a morning of activities, praise and worship, an inspirational talk from youth minister Lauren Gentry and Holy Adoration.

The theme was “made for greatness” — inspiring the youth to know their own worth and identity in God…
