Dear Editor: The absence of more women being involved in Church matters is like the Dark Ages’ ancient laws: no women allowed.

To have only three women involved in the Synod (“Synod Topics Include Mixed Marriages and Abusive Spouses,” Oct. 24), over 40 years is a disgrace.

Hopefully, Pope Francis will change this by taking more of an interest in, and, seeing just what women are capable of. Look at all Our Lady can do.
