St. Joseph’s College Brooklyn, Clinton Hill, assistant softball coach Alyson Chiaramonte will pitch Sunday, July 20 in a “Battle of the Sexes” exhibition game between the Bridgeport Bluefish baseball team and the Stratford Brakettes softball team.

The Bluefish play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, and the Brakettes are one of the longest- running competitive softball teams in the U.S.

A Lady Bear from 2009-2012, Chiaramonte is the only four-time All-American in St. Joseph’s history in any sport, and she compiled 65 wins on the mound with nine no-hitters and five perfect games.

She will enter her third year as an assistant coach for the Lady Bears next spring.
