“Pope Francis: Seeker of Mercy, Joy and Justice” (El Papa Francisco: Promotor de la misericordia, la alegría y la justicia) is the theme of the third annual Diocesan Bilingual Women’s Conference, which will be held March 7, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Center, Douglaston.
Sponsored by the diocesan School of Evangelization, the focus will be on “Encountering Christ Everyday.” The keynote, “Pope Francis’ ‘The Church of Mercy,’ will be given by Dr. Joann Heane-Hunter in English and Casilda Noboa in Spanish. The schedule of presenters includes: Father Robert Lauder, Msgr. Joseph Malagreca, Dr. Meaghan Clark, Sister Marian Maskulak, C.P.S. and Nelsa Elías.
Auxiliary Bishop Octavio Cisneros will celebrate Mass and Msgr. Malagreca will lead the Holy Hour.
