Letters to the Editor

The Pill Is the Problem

Dear Editor: The most traumatic event of the 20th century was not the Second World War or the dropping of the atomic bomb. It was the birth control pill!

Before the pill, family life was strong with eight to 10 children. The basis of society is obliterated, and the world is falling part.

What happened to the millions of children who never saw the light of day? Satan rejoices, and Jesus and Mary weep. May God have mercy on us! And He does.

His merciful forgiveness is ours for the asking. The ball is in our court.

Alleluia! Thanks be to God!

  1. Letters like this make me question how letters are selected for publication. To compare the development of the birth control pill with the carnage of World War II seems to be illogical and far-fetched. Millions of men, women, and children died during the Second World War. Certainly Jesus and Mary wept copiously during those years.
