The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, along with Councilman Vallone, made a stop at Holy Cross High School, Flushing, on Monday, Oct. 2.
Members of the school band had an opportunity to enjoy a full day of learning how to make music and produce videos with the Lennon crew. With the state-of-the-art technology students were able to work with the newest equipment in their workshop.
“I was very impressed by the facilities and staff aboard the tour bus, and it was a wonderful experience for our students to compose, perform, and record in a collaborative, professional setting,” said Gregory Mulzet, chair of the school music department. “The tour bus professionals were kind, passionate, generous, and open-minded, and the students responded with extraordinary creativity. It was a day these young men will not soon forget.”
The tour bus is a one-of-a-kind mobile music recording studio and production facility and Holy Cross High School was grateful its students had the opportunity to participate in high-tech, digital media demonstrations.
