The Shamrock and the Madonna, a discussion about the faith of the Irish and Italians, will take place at The Sheen Center, Manhattan, on Thursday evening, April 14.
The program will include a conversation with Brooklynite Paul Moses, author of “An Unlikely Union: The Love-Hate Story of New York’s Irish and Italians”; Peter Quinn, author of “Banished Children of Eve”; and Robert Orsi, who wrote “The Madonna of 115th Street: Faith and Community in East Harlem.”
The moderator will be Edward O’Donnell.
