The students of Midwood Catholic Academy, housed in the old St. Thomas Aquinas School, Flatlands, hosted a toy drive for those children who are less fortunate. They donated toys to Operation Birthday Party, an organization that helps children living in homeless shelters in Brooklyn celebrate their birthdays and Christmas. The students sent 17 large bags of toys.
