Dear Editor: I have been watching Sunday Mass on TV for over a year due to two conditions which have kept me from attending in person (“This Virtual Experience: A Valuable Lesson,” Put Out Into the Deep, May 2).
I miss receiving the sacrament of Holy Eucharist but I am grateful for the opportunity to feel included in my religion and until I am able, I will be appreciative of this televised Mass.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I have also been watching the Mass on NET TV at 8 a.m., and from St. Francis de Sales at
noon, and say the rosary with their parish at 4 p.m.

I to have been using telivised Mass rather than risking becoming a victim of the corona virus. I am nearly 82 and have heart disease and diabetes making contacting the virus sure death. I certainly miss receiving Holy Communion each week but it seems necessary for me to have to wait until attending Mass is safe once again.
