Auxiliary Bishop Raymond Chappetto celebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Francis Prep, Fresh Meadows, with the faculty, staff and members of the seven organizations that were recipients of the Thanksgiving food drive.

The bishop spoke about the Year of Faith. He said faith comes alive by good deeds done by the individual and the community. The bishop told the community that he chose to adhere to Franciscan tradition when he chose, “An Instrument of Peace,” as his personal motto. This is taken from the prayer of St. Francis.
