Teachers within the Diocese of Brooklyn were celebrated and recognized for their years of serving students at Catholic academies and parish schools throughout Brooklyn and Queens.
The Teacher Appreciation Mass was held at the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston, June 7.
The Office of the Superintendent – Catholic School Support Services, along with the Vicar for Education, Auxiliary Bishop James Massa, recognized those teachers who are retiring.
They also recognized teachers who celebrated anniversary milestones for the gift of their ministry in the academies and parish schools.
