Bay Ridge’s annual Ragamuffin Parade attracted thousands of young and not-so-young dressed in costumes for a parade along Third Avenue. The Xaverian H.S. pipers from Bay Ridge led the march, which also included contingents from the local Catholic academies.
Xaverian Hosts Hoban Run
Xaverian H.S., Bay Ridge, hosted the 25th annual Hoban Run Sept. 15. Xaverian alumnus and police officer Christopher Hoban, ’80, sacrificed his life in the line of duty in 1988 at the age of 26. The run keeps Hoban’s memory alive and funds Xaverian’s Hoban Scholarship.
