For Cotoggio, who grew up in College Point where she went to St. Fidelis School, the decision to start her own business stems in part from her concern for the homeless and from her own fear of becoming homeless. That concern was something she learned at St. Fidelis and from her parents.

Valerie was an integral part of the fabric that bonds the parish of St. Luke as one tight knit family. Valerie passed from this earth on Nov. 1, 2017. How appropriate that day was All Saints Day!
