The Mary Louis Academy’s Robotics Team has strengthened the interest of many students in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) as we worked and planned to build our robot for this year’s theme “Deep Space” at FIRST Competition.

The Tablet’s annual High School Press Awards ceremony, held May 10 at the Diocese of Brooklyn’s offices in Park Slope, honored some of the outstanding journalism in school newspapers. For the first time since the event’s inauguration, a new category was introduced to the schools – “Best Multimedia Package”.

An interdenominational, honest and thought-provoking panel consisting of prestigious women theologians and academic scholars was held at The Mary Louis Academy (TMLA) March 10 as part of National Catholic Sisters Week. National Catholic Sisters Week started March 2014 and was created to highlight women religious through series of events across the country that would help to instruct, enlighten and bring greater focus to the lives of the sisters.

Former stars Danielle Patterson and Jordan Nixon from The Mary Louis Academy are back together again on the court for the University of Notre Dame. Both were All-Americans in high school.
