Father Carlos Valencia, 58, former pastor of Visitation B.V.M. Church, Red Hook, died July 29 in California. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Aug. 10 in Park Slope.

Rite of Election: More Than a Thousand People Prepare to Enter the Church
