Keep Christ in Christmas Art Contest Winners

For the 10th consecutive year, colorful expressions of faith were on display at The Tablet’s annual Keep Christ in Christmas Art Contest award ceremony Jan. 25. Out of the nearly 1,000 student-entries, only 11 winners were selected to celebrate their creative achievements at the Archbishop John Hughes Knights of Columbus Council, Dyker Heights.

Project Joy conducted by the Franciscan Youth Movement (FYM) invited the St. Francis Prep community in Fresh Meadows to bring joy to the elderly by writing Christmas letters.

Raising Funds For Veterans

In honor of Memorial Day, St. Agnes A.H.S. students held a bake sale and a red, white and blue dress down day to raise funds for Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 885 in College Point.
