Three Maryknoll priests who are celebrating significant anniversaries this year were born in the Brooklyn Diocese. They are among 37 Maryknoll priests and brothers who will be commemorating their ordination to the priesthood or Final Oath as a Maryknoll Brother on June 24.
The kitchen at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Williamsburg, which makes 950 meals every week for struggling Brooklynites, was blessed April 30 just before the official ribbon cutting.
