Rosa Hernandez of Stanhope, N.J. died March 18 at home. She was 93.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Deacon Manuel S. Barahona, assistant director of the Cursillo Movement, was celebrated March 3 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Astoria. He died Feb. 27 in the Haven Hospice at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. He was 69.
