New CYO Hall of Famers Practiced Values of Sport

The fifth annual Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Hall of Fame ceremony recognized 10 deserving individuals who dedicated their lives to youth sports in the Diocese of Brooklyn.

Eileen M. Coen, 96, died on Feb. 28. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes, Queens Village, from 1924 to 1986. She was active in the Rosary and altar society and participated in a number of parish theater productions in the 1970s.

OL Lourdes Academy in Queens Village Is Closing
