A petition is circulating to elect Brooklyn Dodgers’ legend Gil Hodges to the Baseball Hall of Fame, and it has nearly 1,700 signatures with a goal of 2,000.

Happy birthday to legendary Brooklyn baseball hero Gil Hodges! He would have been 90 years old today. Gil’s family is still waiting for the call to Cooperstown, and he’s up for election this year in December at MLB’s Winter Meetings.
