Diocesan CYO hosted its annual girls’ swimming championships March 19 at the Eisenhower Park Aquatic Center, East Meadow, L.I. A field of 16 teams competed across three divisions. Here are the results.

Three individual records were broken at the annual CYO girls’ swim Olympics, at the Eisenhower Park Aquatic Center; and the Cheerleading squad from Sacred Heart attended and won two medals at a Rockville Centre Diocese CYO competition at Holy Trinity H.S.
St. Kevin’s to Host Baseball Clinic With the Pros
St. Kevin Catholic Academy, Flushing, will be hosting a baseball clinic for children in kindergarten through the eighth grade on Saturday, April 2, from 3:30-6 p.m. in the gymnasium.

The Catholic Youth Organization has begun developing a diocesan-wide cheerleading program and hosted its first-ever Diocese of Brooklyn Cheerleading Showcase Feb. 27 at Msgr. McClancy M.H.S., East Elmhurst.
St. Joseph’s Runners on Track for Success
The runners from St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Academy have plenty of heart. The academy formed a track program in the spring of 2013 for students in fifth through eighth grade. The program expanded to include the CYO fall cross-country and winter indoor track seasons.

Msgr. King Tourney Keeps Tradition Alive (with video)

King Hall at St. Thomas Aquinas parish, Flatlands, and you will immediately see that the parish’s sports association has done a fine job in keeping alive the many basketball memories of the past.
