Chris DiStefano, a 2006 graduate of St. Joseph’s College Brooklyn, Clinton Hill, was inducted Jan. 21 into the Bears Athletic Hall of Fame. The ceremony took place on Alumni and Family Day during halftime of the St. Joe’s matchup with the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, L.I.

Solly Walker Paved the Way for Future Johnnies

Solly Walker, the first black player in St. John’s history, will be honored Oct. 22 at El Caribe Country Club, Mill Basin, by the Brooklyn U.S.A. Athletic Association, a community-based organization established in 1974 to help improve the quality of life for youth in Central Brooklyn.
